Abstract

Abstract

The writing of this paper started with a demand to update a text written by us almost a decade ago, which dealt with the creative and creator connections of different languages in the teaching of Geography. A general survey was carried out using the Google Scholar application, which resulted in a large volume of works. In the impossibility of dealing with all of them, an analytical cut was made for the language of cinema. All texts were consulted (111, in total, from journals and conference proceedings, all national, in the period of 2006-2019) and those who dealt with theoretical, methodological and epistemological perspectives of the relationship between cinema and Geography teaching were selected (about 10% of the total). From the general consultation of the texts and the study of the selected texts, a cartography based on the philosophy of difference was made, which consists of follow the process to how stabilizations, flexibilities/negotiations and transformations (characteristics of the molar, molecular and flight lines, respectively) compose a between two bodies, in this case, cinema and teaching of Geography. Despite the immense growth in the volume of productions, we realize that the idea that language does not leave a mark on the contents of academic Geography transformed into school content remains as hegemonic.
